This adventure began when we purchased a home with 1 acre of land in Round Rock, Texas in late 2015.
While my husband grew up in the suburbs, I grew up on 6 acres of land in Gilroy, California where my siblings and I bred/raised/showed dairy goats. We also had an assortment of other farm animals including chickens, pigs, horses, calves, and a mule.

When I became a mother to my two amazing children, I knew I wanted to expose them to the joys of raising animals, but without all the upkeep of milking, pasteurizing, bottle feeding, etc that comes with dairy goats. So I decided on chickens. And with most things in my life, I got carried away!

Now I have breeding flocks of Cream Legbars and rare Opal Legbars. I also keep assorted breeds of layers for rainbow colors in my egg basket and fun Legbar crosses.

I will have hatching eggs and chicks available throughout the year.
